The Mayfield Guild, founded in 1992, warmly welcomes all parents of Mayfield Senior School graduates to remain connected with the school. We encourage everyone to join us for fun activities throughout the year (including our annual Mayfield Guild Luncheon, Ash Wednesday Morning of Reflection and Spring Field Trip) and maintain friendships with other parents of Mayfield graduates. Donations to the Mayfield Guild support the book collections in the Sr. Barbara Mullen Library.
Join other parents of Mayfield alums for an outing to the Pasadena Showcase House!
Mayfield Guild Spring 2019 Outing: The 55th Annual Pasadena Showcase House
Originally designed by James E. Dolena—known as the “architect to the stars”—the 12,000-square-foot Hollywood Regency style mansion has been reimagined by 26 designers. Tickets are $45 and include free parking and shuttle service. There are also fabulous Shops at Showcase featuring 29 vendors and pop-up shops. Proceeds from the Pasadena Showcase House benefit arts and music programs throughout Southern California.
After viewing the house and grounds we will venture to the onsite Maple Restaurant for lunch (not included in ticket fee).
Our tickets allow us to enter the Showcase House between 11:00 a.m. and 11:15 a.m. ONLY, so please allow enough time for parking, shuttle transport and walking to the house!
Parking is available at 1919 Verdugo Boulevard, Glendale, CA 91208 (in the commercial complex with the United Artist La Cañada 8 theaters and Starbucks) and the complimentary shuttle ride to Descanso Gardens takes approximately five minutes.
You can also Uber or Lyft to Descanso Gardens (drop off and pickup allowed only)
The house is a beautiful 10-minute walk from the garden entrance. (Only flat shoes are allowed in the Showcase House; walking shoes are recommended.)
