Parents Board

Volunteer your time and talent!

All current parents and guardians of students attending Mayfield Senior School are members of the Parents Board, and are welcome to attend meetings and participate in Parents Board-sponsored events. Meetings are generally held on the first Thursday of the month at 8:15 a.m. in the Strub Hall Conference Room.

Parents Board Events & Programs

The Parents Board sponsors a variety of events and programs throughout the year. These include:
  • Annual Benefit Gala
  • Back to School Class Parties
  • Christmas Luncheon & Deck the Halls Boutique
  • Grandparents & Special Friends Day
  • Mother/Daughter Mass & Reception
  • Senior Tea
  • eScripAmazon Smile and Ralphs Rewards

Hospitality Support

The hospitality chairs and their volunteers also provide and serve refreshments at several school-sponsored events
  • Back to School Night
  • Carol Night 
  • Graduation Reception
  • Junior Ring Night 
  • Open House

General Volunteer Opportunities

There are also many general volunteer opportunities, including:
  • driving and chaperoning students for local service projects and class field trips
  • volunteering in the library
  • chaperoning school dances and the Prom
  • volunteering at Open House and the New Parent & Student Orientation
  • assisting with school mailings

Conservatory and Cubs Support 

Parents can support Mayfield's athletics program by joining the Booster Club, and supporters of the arts at Mayfield can volunteer their support through the Patrons for the Arts association.

Established in 1931, Mayfield Senior School in Pasadena, CA is a Catholic, independent, college preparatory school for young women grades 9-12.
