Our biggest-ever Postscripts magazine is here

Good news and in-depth stories about Mayfield are arriving in your (real) mailbox. We thought you would also enjoy a digital look at Postscripts magazine!
Our biggest-ever Postscripts magazine is a summer must-read publication and shows you not only how Mayfield is educating young women of faith, but also how our “Actions Not Words” motto is alive in classrooms and resonates among our beloved alumnae and supporters.

The 2018 theme, “Designed for learning, created with love,” speaks to our distinctive Catholic, Holy Child education that draws inspiration from foundress Cornelia Connelly. You will see how Mayfield embraces Cornelia’s challenge to design an education that “meets the wants of the age.”

Yet all we do at Mayfield is created with love, because at the heart of a Holy Child education lies our mission to inspire students’ belief that they are loved by God, who is an active presence in their lives.

This edition brings a joyful new design and stories that take you into the classroom like never before.

Read why Head of School Kate Morin asks herself almost every day: “What would Cornelia do?” Find out about the stellar accomplishments of our cherished alums and friends in on the popular “Class Notes" pages. Find out why we called this “The Year of Chemistry” and what made a newly-minted Caltech Ph.D. join the science department. Learn about our new (digital) language requirement and how a group of teenagers took on the Sacrament of Reconciliation and made going to confession less “scary.”

While digital is where you are now, we hope you enjoy our beautiful magazine, its smooth white paper, fresh-ink smell and touchable photo pixels. Happy summer reading!
