Creative writers are ‘killin’ it’

By Caitlin Lee ’18
Creative writing students have been been investigating the genre of mystery while collaborating on an original murder mystery play that will be performed by Theatre Conservatory this spring.
The play is an innovative one, as it takes place not in Pike, but throughout Strub Hall! Working with the student writers on the hush-hush project is playwright and actress, Paula Weston Solano, of theater, film and television fame.

The title of the play will be revealed in good time, my dear Watson, but given the venue expect a period piece with characters inspired by English literary figures.

This collaboration will be coming to Mayfield April 20, 2018 at the Theatre Senior Projects and Creative Writing Showcase, so hold your pearls, don’t drop your handkerchief, and prepare for a night of mystery and fun!
