Our talented Mayfield artists captivated visitors at the Fall Arts Show

Students in all nine of our signature Conservatory for the Arts programs united in early October to show off their wonderful visual art and performance skills to the Mayfield community.
The Student Commons was transformed into an art gallery for Visual Arts and Photography and Film & Media students to showcase their work. Concerts resounded and authors treated us to their creative writings.

Students were grateful not only for the supportive, standing-room-only crowd of friends and family at the event, but a for a high school environment that enriches and nurtures their burgeoning artistic talents!

Instrumental Conservatory played delightful seasonal tunes. Creative Writing read select pieces of poetry and memoir. Performance and exhibition spaces were packed with family, friends and fans for this celebration of the arts!

Vocal Conservatory sang three songs as stunning as the Strub Living Room in which they performed. Theatre Conservatory demonstrated an amusing sneak peek of the upcoming play Steel Magnolias. Dance Conservatory gave a show of basic ballet positions and a polished choreographed piece.

To wrap up the night, the staple of every performance, Technical Theatre Conservatory talked about the work that will be made possible by the campus's new scene shop as members modeled face shields and power tools.
