Senior Transition

As seniors are readying themselves for the college experience, Mayfield Senior School provides two meaningful programs.
The first is the Senior Service Program, designed to nurture each student’s confidence, self-knowledge and spirituality while she employs her gifts and passions. Every student strives to make a difference in the world at a significant milestone in her life, the time of transition to college and life beyond high school. Each senior gives 45 hours of service in May at an approved placement site. The second program occurs at the completion of their service projects. Seniors participate in a week-long series of college preparation workshops covering topics such as self defense, financial responsibilities, and health and safety.
