We warmly invite 6th-, 7th- and 8th-grade girls to join us for a fun day of workshops designed to fuel the artistic passions of middle school girls. They'll work side-by-side with our Conservatory for the Arts students and expert faculty members!

Our Mayfield students love to create and we want to share this enthusiasm with you—join us for one or both sessions!

Morning Session: 9:00 a.m. to 12:30 p.m.

Creative Writing Workshop (20 students max.)

Find your voice as we delve into fiction and poetry and learn the craft of writing for a literary and artistic end.

Black & White Photo Lab (12 students max.)

Hone your photographic “eye” by focusing on light, shape and shadow with classic monochromatic images.

Afternoon Session: 12:30 p.m. to 4:00 p.m.

Vocal Music

Vocalists will join with our nationally acclaimed, award-winning Women’s Ensemble under the guidance of Choir Director Andrew Alvarez.

Instrumental Music

Instrumentalists will play side-by-side with our orchestra members, crafting tunes that play to their strengths and talents.

Mayfield Arts News

Established in 1931, Mayfield Senior School in Pasadena, CA is a Catholic, independent, college preparatory school for young women grades 9-12.
