Lauren navigated through her high school years with skill and courage. On the basketball court she went the extra mile for the team, diving for that loose ball, striving for that crucial rebound. In math class her many contributions benefited her fellow learners and embodied Cornelia’s motto, Actions Not Words. As a member of the Diversity Committee, she shared her personal journey of growth with the entire student body. We were moved by Lauren’s honesty and bravery. We look forward to her next success as she leaves Mayfield and embarks on her next adventure.

Dear Lauren, YOU DID IT! Thank you for all your help and support. I am definitely the luckiest Little Sister who has received mucho love from my Big Sister. A big thumbs up for you for saying my name right the first time we met (as most people can't). Sadly, I won’t be able to see you again, but I hope I can see you sometime in the future!
