Sr. Eileen McDevitt, SHCJ is honored at Mayfield!

On Tuesday, January 26, the Mayfield Senior School Board of Trustees surprised Sr. Eileen McDevitt, SHCJ, with the dedication of the Garden Terrace adjacent to the Student Commons. A gift of Rob, Fran and Lexie Lynch '98, the Garden Terrace is a peaceful outdoor space overlooking our beautiful Strub Hall.
The dedication plaque to Sr. Eileen acknowledges her exemplary years of service as the Director of the Holy Child Network of Schools, a role she has held since 1985. Accompanying the plaque is beautiful Della Robbia of Mary with the Holy Child. The dedication is a fitting tribute to Sr. Eileen who has shared the spirit and wisdom of Cornelia Connelly and the Holy Child with schools throughout the United States.
