Learning takes place everywhere––not just in the classroom but on a global trip, at an internship, in a workshop, at a seminar, through a project, and more. At Mayfield, we know that the traditional college-prep curriculum and classroom are not enough. With an academic program that offers both college-prep and advanced courses, together with Signature Programs that empower students to go deeper, think bigger, and apply their learning more meaningfully, our students are not just ready for college but for the world beyond.

Individualized & Relational
Small classes, personal connections, and individualized support characterize learning at Mayfield. With an average class size of 15, teachers who tailor their teaching strategies to accommodate different learning styles, two Learning Specialists, a Student Support Team, a 9th-12th Academic Advising program, and a Learning Center that facilitates collaboration and consultation, we know who our students are and where they want to go.

At Mayfield, girls are the center of everything we do. From the development of our academic program and instructional strategies to the design of our learning spaces, how girls learn and succeed, what they like, and what inspires and drives them, are our only focus. This is why our graduates are engineers, industry experts, business leaders, community-builders, and so much more. They are anything they dream of being.
Graduation Requirements
- 4 units of English
- 4 units of Theology
- 4 units of Wellness (Formation of Self)
- 3 units of Mathematics
- 3 units of one World Language
(or two units each of two different languages) - 3 units of Social Studies
- 3 units of Laboratory Science
(must include Conceptual Physics, Chemistry and Biology) - 1 unit of Fitness
- 1 unit of Fine Arts
One unit is the equivalent of a full-year course. All students are required to take six classes per semester, plus Formation of Self. Service learning is also required all four years.
