Pathways Program Components

Global Society & Data Pathway
In a world shaped by data, algorithms, and AI, the Global Society & Data Pathway empowers students to explore today’s most pressing global challenges through the lens of data and social impact

Students examine how data informs public policy, economic systems, environmental sustainability, and democratic governance—while also grappling with the ethical questions surrounding its use.
Through a curated sequence of courses beginning in 10th grade, students build fluency in data visualization, statistical analysis, and research methods, alongside a deep understanding of historical, political, and economic forces. The pathway culminates in a faculty-guided capstone research project, where students apply their skills to a social issue of their choice.
Graduates of this pathway emerge as civic-minded problem solvers, prepared to pursue majors and careers in data science, social sciences, public policy, sustainability, and beyond.
Women & Finance Pathway
The Women & Finance Pathway equips students with the knowledge and confidence to understand—and lead within—the world of finance. Grounded in the skills valued by top business schools, this program builds financial literacy, strategic thinking, and an entrepreneurial mindset.
Beginning sophomore year, students take a sequence of courses that strengthen mathematical reasoning, financial analysis, and economic understanding. Beyond the classroom, students engage in hands-on seminars led by professionals in banking, investment management, fintech, entrepreneurship, and nonprofit finance, gaining exposure to diverse career pathways and women leaders shaping the field.
In their final year, students complete a capstone experience—such as an internship, research project, or financial case study—guided by faculty and industry mentors. By program completion, students are prepared to pursue majors in finance, economics, business, or related fields, and to make informed, ethical decisions in an increasingly complex global economy.
