Alumnae Awards
Alumnae Awards Update
In conjunction with our 75th anniversary on Bellefontaine Street, Mayfield Senior School would like to recognize a broad range of alumnae accomplishments by establishing two exciting, new alumnae awards. In addition to upholding our tradition of presenting the prestigious Cornelian Award during our annual Reunion Weekend, we would like to also recognize Mayfield alumnae who make remarkable achievements and contributions in their professional fields and in their communities.
The nomination and selection process will be managed by the Development Office with input from the Head of School. We encourage you to submit nominations for yourself and/or fellow alums for the following awards:
Mayfield Young Alumna Award
Recognizing a young alumna who has demonstrated exceptional leadership, innovation, and dedication in her field or community, making a meaningful impact within the first 15 years of her career. This award honors a young alumna who has forged a path of excellence, creativity, and service. Whether through work in her profession, commitment to social justice, contributions to the arts or sciences, or leadership in community service, this alumna leads with both purpose and heart.
Distinguished Alumna Award
Recognizing an alumna who has reached the highest level in her field or endeavor, whether professional, business or civic/volunteer, and who has already celebrated her 20th reunion. This award recognizes an individual who has used her position of visibility, influence, or leadership to foster positive change. The recipient of this award leads with courage, inspires through her actions, and remains deeply connected to the principles instilled in her at Mayfield.
Cornelian Award
Recognizing an alumna who best exemplifies the Holy Child ideal of service, “Actions Not Words,” through her contributions to family, community, and professional endeavors. This award honors an alumna who lives out the Holy Child philosophy of "meeting the wants of the age" by dedicating her life to making the world a more just, compassionate, and faith-filled place, and who makes an unwavering commitment to improving the lives of others. She leads with integrity and purpose, embodying the values instilled in her at Mayfield by using her gifts to uplift, empower, and serve.

Alums in Action
We are proud of our alums and their contributions to society. Through reunions, networking events, and mentorship programs, we maintain strong connections with our graduates. These opportunities allow alums to stay engaged with the school, support current students, and continue their lifelong relationship with the Mayfield community.
We love keeping up with our alums! Please complete the submission below. We encourage you to include a photo, but one is not required. Class Notes will be included in the next issue of Postscripts. Questions? Please contact Lisa Vandergriff, Director of Development at lisa.vandergriff@mayfieldsenior.org
