Hi Julianna! I just wanted to tell you how much I’ve appreciated having you in class and getting to know you these last couple of years. I can honestly say that in my long career at this school, no student has been a more enthusiastic participant in my class. You have such an appetite for learning! And believe me, that curiosity that you have about life will serve you so well in the future. I really feel for you and all your classmates for how your senior year has been disrupted, but as someone who truly appreciates history, I know that, many years from now, you’ll relish recounting how you yourself lived it in 2020. I’ve been inspired by the pride you take in your Armenian heritage, and I have enjoyed learning about the place itself from your accounts of your journeys there. Let’s all hope we can travel again soon! But wherever your life’s journey takes you next, I hope you’ll stay in touch and come back to Mayfield to visit.
