Tuition

Tuition for the 2019-20 school year is $28,650.

To assist families in financial planning, below is a breakdown of basic freshman year fees.

Enrollment Deposit: 

A non-refundable deposit of $2,000 is due at the time of enrollment 

Annual School & Activity Fee: 
$1,275 

Conservatory for the Arts Fee (optional): 
$300 per trimester

Athlectics Fees (optional): 
$100-300 (varies by sport)

CKW School Uniforms: 
$300-$500 

Textbooks/eTextbooks Cost (paid to outside vendors):
Average cost per year $400-$600

Laptop/iPad requirement: 
Students are required to have either an iPad or MacBook for day-to-day classroom use. (You will not need to purchase a new Apple product if your daughter already has one.)

Need-Based Financial Aid

Mayfield Senior School is committed to providing need-based financial aid to new and returning families. Assistance is awarded based on demonstration of need as well as on available financial aid funds. All new and returning families are required to complete all requested information in order to be considered for Financial Aid.

Merit-Based Scholarships

We are pleased to offer five $7,500 merit-based scholarships for the 2020-21 school year. 
 
All ninth grade applicants are considered for Mayfield Senior School's merit scholarships, based on the following selection criteria: 

  • Candidate must have a record of academic excellence in the 7th and 8th grades and be among the top 5% of Mayfield's applicant pool. 
  • ISEE Exam scores are considered
  • Candidate must demonstrate a history of outstanding contributions to her school through leadership and service
Decisions are made by the Head of School and Admissions Committee and awardees are notified at the time of acceptance.
