Mayfield Senior School has been blessed by gifts from alumnae, parents, past parents, grandparents and friends. These generous donors offer support in a variety of ways.
Gifts to the Annual Fund help offset the school's basic operating costs, which are not fully covered by tuition.
Capital campaign gifts are used to fund the renovation and restoration of existing facilites, and the construction of new buildings. Past construction projects financed by capital gifts include:
- Fitness Center and Dance Studio added to the Sister Mary Wilfrid Gymnasium (2003)
- Pike Auditorium Performing Arts and Liturgical Center remodeling (1998)
- Clougherty Computer Center remodeling (1996)
- Sister Mary Wilfrid Gymnasium (1993)
- William R. and Virginia Hayden Library and Science Building (1989)
Gifts to the Endowment Fund provide security for the school’s future. Endowment earnings provide financial aid for students, enhanced salaries for faculty and help to meet other pressing needs of the school.
