Music Conservatories share joy throughout community

The Vocal and Instrumental Conservatories at Mayfield Senior School have been heading out into the community to spread Christmas spirit and share their talents.
The Instrumental Conservatory performed at One Colorado shopping center on Sunday, December 15, keeping shoppers' spirits high with a free concert.

The Vocal Conservatory has caroled at two local assisted living facilities, singing concerts and visiting rooms to spread the joy and love of this season of the Holy Child Jesus. For the second year in a row, the Conservatory visited Santa Teresita in Duarte. The facility is run by the Carmelite Sisters and is dedicated to providing professional nursing, rehabilitative and care-giving support while at the same time empowering their lives with vibrancy, purpose and fulfillment. Students also sang at The Californian-Pasadena Convalescent Hospital, just down the road from our campus.

Before performing for Carol Night with the whole Mayfield community, the tradition of caroling and bringing the joy of Christmas through music in our community is an important part of the Holy Child tradition.
