Aimee McAnulty ’15 accepted to Boston University Tanglewood Institute

Junior violist Aimee McAnulty, a member of the Mayfield Senior School Instrumental Conservatory, recently learned that she has been accepted to the prestigious Boston University Tanglewood Institute this summer.
Aimee will spend six weeks in Boston working with professional musicians and other high school-aged performers. The program is associated with the Boston Symphony Orchestra and is internationally recognized as a premier summer training program for aspiring young musicians. Aimee hopes to study viola performance after graduating from Mayfield.
 
A concert will be held on Thursday, May 29 at the Donald Wright Auditorium in the Pasadena Public Library at 7pm to support Aimee’s travel expenses. No advanced reservations required. For more information, please contact Denise Darnell
