Each year, as part of the Annual Giving campaign, Mayfield Senior School alumnae contribute to the Holy Child Scholarship Fund, which provides partial scholarships for more than 20 students.

The goal for 2008-09 — and the amount allocated for this year's Holy Child Scholars — is $125,000. In addition, we hope to raise alumnae participation to 20%.

Each year, at the annual Homecoming Mass & Family Picnic, Alumnae Fund Awards are given to:

  • The class with the greatest level of alumnae participation
    (2008 Winners: Class of 1966)

  • The class that contributes the largest dollar amount
    (2008 Winners: Class of 1974)

The campaign runs from July 1, 2008 to June 30, 2009. To donate online, Give Today!, or contact alumnae@mayfieldsenior.org.

Make a difference in a young women’s life by adopting a Holy Child Scholar and giving her the opportunity to receive a Mayfield Senior School education.

Holy Child Scholars are awarded tuition grants of $3,500, renewable each year that an above average academic standing is maintained. The Admissions Committee designates as many as six Holy Child Scholars for each incoming freshman class.

Instituted by Mayfield Senior School’s Board of Trustees in 1991, the Holy Child Scholarship Fund targets outstanding students enrolled in Catholic elementary schools. The awards are granted to those candidates who best embody the spirit of the Holy Child philosophy.

If you would like more information on how you, or your class as whole, can adopt a Holy Child Scholar, please contact alumnae@mayfieldsenior.org or (626) 204-2012.
