Most of Mayfield's tuition assistance budget is allocated to need-based financial aid. Last year, we awarded more than $360,000 in need-based financial aid.
In order to qualify for this program, families must demonstrate financial need. Like most independent secondary schools in the nation, Mayfield uses the School and Student Service for Financial Aid (SSS) in order to have a fair and standard method for determining financial need. To apply for financial aid a family must do the following:
- Contact the Admissions Office to request the SSS Parents' Financial Statement, PFS. The original form must be mailed to SSS in the envelope they provide. A copy of the completed SSS form must be submitted to Mayfield’s Admissions Office by January 16, 2009.
- Submit a copy of your 2007 IRS Form 1040 (including all schedules) to Mayfield's Admissions Office by January 16, 2009. Notification of awards will be mailed March 6, 2009.
